There will not be school on Friday, May 18th.

On May 15th our Grade 6,7 and 8 students will be immunized for the whooping cough, diphtheria and tetnis.  Our Grade 7 girls will also receive their next needle for the HPV at the same time.  We recomment students eat well that day and drink their recommendend 4-6 glasses of water for the day.  It would be helpful if the students could wear short sleeves as well.  Of you require further information plese contact public health.

The annual Diamond Dinner will be held on May 12th.  Tickets should be ready for sale on April 20th.  Get ready for the "Live from London" theme based evening.  London is the happening spot this year with the Queen's 60th Anniversary and the upcoming Summer Olympics.  Come enjoy a bit of the "Brits" with a traditional Roast Beef Dinner complete with Yorkshire Pudding!  Please contact the school office for further ticket information.

Spring is in the air!  Birds singing, flowers booming, skipping ropes and bicycles are common signs of spring.  Now, at Port Elgin Regional School, you can add garbage bags to that list! 

Since we are trying to encourage our students to be aware of their role in protecting our environment, we are introducing a new environmentally practical fundraiser, packages of Al-Pack garbage bags.  Each package will contain 30 medium (26x36) blue bags and 30 small(20x22) green bags for the cost of $10.&nb

Parents that plan on transporting students (other than their own children) to or from extra curricular activities must complete Policy 701 training.  If you have not attending a 701 session with Mr. Welling please give him a call as soon as possible to make arrangements for completing the training,
